The D4Science Infrastructure was presented during a Workshop organized jointly by the Research Infrastructure and  e-Infrastructure Units and by the D4Science-II project on 17th March 2010, in Brussels.

The workshop was attended by representatives of the ESFRI Environment WG and by representatives of other Research Infrastructures projects. The lively discussion which accompanied the presentations offered the opportunity to initiate an exchange of experiences aimed at clarifying to what extent the current technology is ready to satisfy main requirements of the Environmental Science application domain.
