Enhanced gCube software now available

The D4Science development team is pleased to announce the release of a new enhanced version of the gCube software available at the gCube Distribution Site. This version contains an upgrade of all gCube components as well as new components providing new extended functionality. Due to the specification upgrade, the software is not compatible with the old versions.

Highlights of this release include:

• Full gCore adoption;
• Reusabiltiy of several components in different domains;
• Clean up of the previous source code;
• New components in the Core Service and Information Retrieval areas;
• Support for remote monitoring and management functionality.
