Activity Organisation

The objectives of the D4Science and D4Science-II projects are being achieved through the synergetic operation of Networking, Service, and Joint Research Activities.

D4Science
  D4Science Networking Activities (NA)
aim at serving the needs of the Environmental Monitoring and Fisheries and Aquaculture Resources Management communities. The experience gained with these large communities facilitate a future extension of the e-Infrastructure capabilities to other scientific communities. This is being done by: disseminating the project outcomes, training of the various players, and exploiting and collecting feedback to the D4Science e-Infrastructure through the implementation of the communities VREs.

  D4Science Service Activities (SA)
aim at making available and maintaining a stable, reliable and usable e-Infrastructure to the D4Science user communities and possibly others.

  D4Science Joint Research Activities (JRA)
address the technical requirements raised by the D4Science user communities against the gCube framework.

NA, SA and JRA activities are organised in cooperating work packages whose interaction is depicted in the D4Science activity organisation figure.
