D4Science was present at the 4th GRID & e-Collaboration Workshop – Digital Repositories, which was hosted by ESA/ESRIN (Frascati, Italy) from 25-26 February 2009. The two day worshop focused on:
- Earth Science Digital Repositories;
- Data Management and Access in Digital Repositories;
- Emerging Standards for Interoperability of Earth Science Digital Repositories.

Call for Contributions for “ECDL 2009 – Digital Societies”
The Laboratory on Digital Libraries and Electronic Publishing, Department of Archives and Library Sciences, Ionian University kindly invites you to participate to the 13th European Conference on Digital Libraries (ECDL 2009), which will be held in Corfu, Greece from September 27 to October 2, 2009.The general theme of the conference is "Digital Societies". Find more about the theme in the Call for Contributions webpage.
Moreover ECDL 2009 intends to host in its program four plenary specially recognized tracks, each corresponding to a main topic: Infrastructures, Content, Services, and Foundations.
