«I Reunión Mundial de Usuarios de D4Science» en Roma, Italia
El 25 y 26 de noviembre se celebrará en la sede de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentación (FAO) en Roma (Italia) la «I Reunión Mundial de Usuarios de D4Science».
Los objetivos de este encuentro son:
- realizar un seguimiento de oportunidades y proyectos innovadores que pongan en práctica infraestructuras electrónicas avanzadas para su uso por comunidades científicas multidisciplinarias;
- compartir experiencias y mejores prácticas en el marco de un debate sobre los últimos desarrollos en infraestructuras electrónicas, incidiendo en la explotación de las posibles sinergias creadas;
- presentar los últimos conocimientos industriales relativos a la creación de informes de progreso de vigilancia dinámicos y los resultados más recientes relacionados con la armonización y combinación de fuentes de información estructurada distribuida para la generación de indicadores mejorados;
- identificar las perspectivas de comunidades de usuarios y debatir los próximos movimientos del D4Science-II «Entornos de Investigación Virtual».
El proyecto D4Science («DIstributed colLaboratories Infrastructure on Grid ENabled Technology 4 Science») está cofinanciado por la UE a través del Séptimo Programa Marco (7PM).

Il 25 e il 26 novembre si terrà a Roma, in Italia, il primo "D4Science World User Meeting" presso l'Organizzazione delle Nazioni Unite per l'alimentazione e l'agricoltura (FAO) .
Gli obiettivi dell'incontro sono:
- follow up sulle opportunità e i progetti innovativi che implementano infrastrutture elettroniche avanzate per le comunità scientifiche multidisciplinari;
- condividere esperienze e migliori pratiche durante la discussione sui più recenti progressi delle infrastrutture elettroniche con particolare attenzione a come sfruttare le possibili sinergie;
- presentare il più recente know-how nella costruzione di rapporti dinamici per il monitoraggio dei progressi e i più recenti risultati di armonizzazione e combinazione di fonti di dati strutturate distribuite per la generazione di indicatori migliorati;
- identificare le prospettive della comunità utenti e discutere la road map per D4Science-II Virtual Research Environments.
Il progetto D4Science ("DIstributed colLaboratories Infrastructure on Grid ENabled Technology 4 Science") è co-finanziato dall'Unione Europea nell'ambito del Settimo programma quadro (7º PQ).

"D4Science world user meeting", Rom, Italien
Vom 25. bis 26. November veranstaltet die Ernährungs- und Landwirtschaftsorganisation der Vereinten Nationen (FAO) in Rom, Italien, das erste "D4Science World User Meeting".
Ziele des Treffens sind:
- Weiterverfolgung von Chancen und innovativen Projekten zur Umsetzung fortgeschrittener e-Infrastrukturen für multidisziplinäre wissenschaftliche Gemeinschaften;
- Austausch von Erfahrungen und bewährten Praktiken im Rahmen von Diskussionen zu neuesten Fortschritten bei e-Infrastrukturen, wobei ein Schwerpunkt auf der Ausnutzung möglicher Synergien liegt;
- Präsentation neuesten Know-hows beim Aufbau der dynamische Überwachung von Fortschrittsberichten und der neuesten Ergebnisse bei der Harmonisierung und Kombination verteilter strukturierter Datenquellen für die Generierung verbesserter Indikatoren;
- Ermittlung der Perspektiven der Nutzergemeinschaft und Diskussion des Entwicklungsplans für D4Science-II Virtual Research Environments.
Das D4Science-Projekt ("DIstributed colLaboratories Infrastructure on Grid ENabled Technology 4 Science ") wird innerhalb des Siebten Rahmenprogramms (RP7) von der Europäischen Union mitfinanziert.
Die Teilnahme an dem Treffen ist an eine Einladung gebunden; Anfragen zu freien Plätzen sind an die Organisatoren zu richten.
